Reclaiming Our Roots

Reclaiming Our Roots engages us with seasonal cycles and invites us to get curious about our local plant companions.

This project weaves connections between art, community and nature. Each session will be an invitation to meet a chosen plant companion and learn about their virtues. Deeper connection will be guided through activities like tea tasting, crafting folk medicine, sharing our personal plant stories and collaborative creativity. Through this project we are keen to work with those who may have experienced loss of ancestral lands or traditional ways of working with plants.

Reclaiming Our Roots is part of Growing Land Connections, led by Ekho Collective CIC as part of Dudley People's School for Climate Justice.

Reclaiming Our Roots is led by Time Rebel Clare Evans.
